Sustainability

Inspired by the oceans we love, Brooks Taylor Swim creates each piece using recycled materials, solar-powered production, and responsible manufacturing practices.

Recycled Fabrics

We use premium sustainable fabrics, including Italian Carvico ECONYL® (made partly from ocean waste) and American REPREVE® (made from plastic bottles). All of our fabric prints use OEKO-TEX® certified eco ink. Ocean waste, such as fishing nets, plastic bottles, fabric scraps and carpet flooring is collected and melted into flakes. The waste flakes are transformed into nylon and plastic chips which then become fabric fibers. This recycled fabric is used to create our suits and is then packaged in biodegradable pouches.

Solar Power

Ethical manufacturing is a cornerstone of our brand. The factory is solar-powered, so products are naturally powered from sunshine! On very sunny days, our factory sends extra solar power to the community power grid.

Ethical Labor

Part of our commitment to ethical manufacturing includes attention to excellent labor standards. All production staff at our manufacturing facility receive above average wages (up to three times the standard wage). In addition, workers negotiate their own contracts and salaries and receive comprehensive health insurance with generous work-life benefits and an emphasis on workplace well-being.

Confidence is
always in style.

What started as a dream from a teenage designer has grown into a swimwear brand built on confidence, movement, and the joy of life by the water.

Reach out, we'd love to here from you!
